Security Personnel Division

Our A.S.A.P. Security Personnel are experts in asset protection. If a company’s assets are stolen, lost, destroyed, damaged, or altered, the organization or individual owning them suffers a loss. A.S.A.P. Security Personnel are highly trained specialists with expertise in protecting people, property, information, and corporate image. A.S.A.P. also adheres to and exceeds the standards on security guard recruitment, retention, and training mandated by local and national government agencies. We deliver qualified and capable personnel tailored to each client’s needs. A.S.A.P.’s Security Personnel Division rejects the “cookie cutter” approach to training, equipping, and deploying guards. Rather, A.S.A.P. has the flexibility to provide personnel that meet each client’s requirements.

A.S.A.P. Security Guards are prepared for success and challenged to continuously improve. Clients can rest assured that A.S.A.P. Security Guards are fully trained on industry standards and are fully capable of meeting a specific industry’s regulations and legal boundaries. A.S.A.P. also adheres to and exceeds standards on security guard recruitment, retention, and training mandated by local and national government agencies.

The A.S.A.P. protocol requires guards and supervisors to respond to client needs and situations in a responsible, urgent, and ethical manner. The curriculum of the A.S.A.P. Academy includes modules on professionalism, public relations, customer services, and sensitivity training. The ethical use of force in a crisis and at a crime scene is emphasized. The goal is to consistently deliver security services that align with the expectations, mission, and values of each customer.

As a result, clients are assured that A.S.A.P. Security Services assigns guards with an in-depth understanding of the following industry segments:

Retail

In Retail it is all about detail and we at A.S.A.P. understand that philosophy. A.S.A.P. security personnel are provided with security training as well as customer specific training and detailed site orientation. This will ensure that they truly know the store and value the culture, so they can blend in while being a uniformed visible deterrent. We focus specifically on the appearance of our security professionals since they are often the first contact when customers enter a store; a personalized approach sets us apart from other service providers. Our security professionals are continually trained in a wide range of loss prevention solutions.

In a retail store setting, A.S.A.P. Security Personnel are trained to perform numerous roles:

  • Access control
  • Crowd control
  • Loss prevention
  • In store patrols

  • Security audits
  • Special events
  • Contractor access control
  • Security trend tracking and reporting

Mining

All mining sites have their specific requirements that have to be taken into account. After a thoroughly conducted security audit A.S.A.P. management firms up the standing orders in cooperation with the customer. The supervisor will be carefully selected since he/she will play a key role in the successful operation of the remote sites. A.S.A.P. Security Personnel are provided with security training as well as customer specific training and detailed site orientation. A.S.A.P. Security Personnel can be trusted to ensure that employees, visitors, and contractors are engaging in legitimate activities while on the premises. We understand the security-related risks associated with these environments and can deliver comprehensive security solutions designed to mitigate unlawful activities such as thefts and breaches of security and safety policies.

Corporate Headquarters

At A.S.A.P., we know that no two organizations are alike. But in most corporate headquarters, the security team provides the first impression one receives when entering the facility. As an extension of that corporate environment, A.S.A.P. Security Personnel are provided with detailed site orientation and training to ensure that they truly know the facility and value the workplace culture, while remaining a neutral component of the security and life safety program. We develop customized and comprehensive training to specifically meet the unique needs of each corporate customer. Our uniform design can also be customized, within regulations, to meet unique requests and preferences.

Commercial Real Estate Properties

A.S.A.P. fully understands that owners of commercial real estate have invested significant amounts of time and capital to develop a property that is profitable for shareholders and stakeholders. Tenants, operating their own businesses, depend on the property owner to provide a safe and secure environment for their customers. Intruders and trespassers must be identified and denied access. Our security personnel receive site and property specific training and have a first-hand understanding and appreciation of the risks.

A.S.A.P. Security Personnel have been trained to support that mission by providing the following services:

  • Security awareness seminars
  • Safety and emergency protocols
  • Tenant rules enforcement
  • Key control
  • Access monitoring, both visually and electronically, of the building’s entrance and information desk
  • Foot and car patrols
  • Shipping and receiving dock security
  • Contractor supervision

Logistics and Distribution Facilities

Warehouses, logistics centres, and distribution facilities are hubs of activity. But not all transactions add value to the operation and goals of the company. A.S.A.P. Security Personnel can be trusted to ensure that employees, visitors, and suppliers are engaging in legitimate activities while on the premises. We understand the security-related risks associated with these environments and can deliver comprehensive security solutions designed to mitigate unlawful activities such as thefts and breaches of security and safety policies. Also, intruders and trespassers must be identified and removed from the property.

A.S.A.P. Security Personnel are trained to provide the following:

  • Access control, including gatehouse operations, information desk monitoring, video monitoring, and key control
  • Patrols by foot or car
  • Safety and emergency protocol enforcement
  • Security awareness seminars
  • Shipping and receiving security
  • Supervision of contractors
  • Tenant liaison and rules enforcement

Manufacturing Plants

Today’s economic climate has put mounting pressures on the manufacturing industry. Financial constraints, employee upheavals, and industry consolidation can lead to losses in the billions of dollars. Threats come from both sophisticated external cabals and trusted insiders. A company’s trade secrets, brand integrity, and reputation are all at risk. At A.S.A.P., we understand the security risks associated with these environments and can deliver customized solutions designed to mitigate security-related incidents, including theft, pilferage, breaches, shipping losses, and employee safety. In addition, we also help assess and evaluate risk and can conduct audits that identify internal and external threats to manufacturing and industrial facilities.

Educational Institutions and Campuses

Experience has proven that security personnel assigned to universities, colleges, and schools must have a wide range of skills and capabilities. A.S.A.P. develops customized training programs in partnership with client institutions to prepare its security guards to assist students, faculty, support personnel, and the community at large in maintaining a safe and secure educational environment.

Healthcare and Pharmaceutical Facilities

Our security personnel are prepared to perform a variety of duties and tasks in healthcare environments, including patrols, visitor assistance, patient watch, incident response, and console monitoring. In addition, we can also help assess and evaluate risks and conduct audits that identify threats within hospital settings and pharmaceutical facilities.

Banking and Financial Institutions

Protecting people, property, information, and image—the four components of asset protection—are inter-related in banking and financial institutions. Within A.S.A.P., we understand the complex security-related needs of financial institutions and train our security personnel accordingly. As a result, our security personnel help maintain a safe and secure environment; they act as visual deterrents to criminal activity and serve as customer service representatives.

Residential Communities

A residential property is more than bricks, mortar, and land. Individuals and families along with their cherished memories and belongings make that property a home. A.S.A.P. focuses its attention on the human side of residential protection. A professional security assessment with detailed recommendations can add layers of protection. The goal is to provide peace of mind within the home atmosphere. Our experienced management team can provide clients with extremely detailed property audits as well as consult and coordinate the multiple layers of direct and indirect protection needed to safeguard an individual’s personal assets.
